The Framework aims to improve healthcare delivery, support innovation, reduce duplication in procurement activity, and ensure consistent standards for governance, implementation, and digital maturity across the system.
The Opportunity
The new £750m 8-year national agreement has been developed in order to provide a range of NHS buyers with a route to purchase leading edge AI solutions.
This new 8-year Open Framework consolidating several previous NHS frameworks is intended to support the compliant and scalable procurement of AI solutions across the NHS and wider healthcare and social care sector. The Framework will provide Approved Organisations with access to safe, interoperable, and innovative technologies that improve patient outcomes, enhance operational efficiency, and support healthcare transformation.
Lot Structure:
The new framework agreement will focus on the application of AI in different specialities by providing new efficient ways to prevent, diagnose, treat illness and optimise clinical workflow. The new lot structure is as follows:
· Lot 1: Radiology and diagnostic imaging
· Lot 2: Pathological diagnosis and Early Detection and Preventative Healthcare
· Lot 3: Virtual and Robotic Health
· Lot 4: Predictive Analytics
· Lot 5: Research, Innovation and Development
· Lot 6: Operational Efficiency
· Lot 7: Advisory and Specialised Support
· Lot 8: Combined Solutions
Current expected prerequisites for Bidding
To participate in this framework opportunity, organisations must meet comprehensive compliance requirements, including:
· D&B Rating and assessment of financial standing
· Can commit to obtain prior to the commencement of the contract or already has in place Public liability Insurance, Employers’ liability Insurance and Professional indemnity Insurance
· Cyber Essentials
· ISO standards by time of award including ISO 9001, 14001 and either 27001 or CE+
· Previous experience of delivering the same or similar services
· Carbon Reduction Plan*
