DfE SEND CPD Framework – Estimated Value £781 Million

Do you deliver SEND and Inclusion Training to the Education Sector?
If you design, develop or deliver continuing professional development (CPD) for education professionals across England, this opportunity closes soon:

  • School Teachers and Leaders: SEND and inclusion CPD for classroom teachers, SENCOs and senior leaders
  • Further Education Staff: Training for FE teachers, leaders and support staff
  • Teaching Assistants: CPD programmes for TAs and classroom support roles
  • Digital & Specialist Services: Research, content development, quality assurance, stakeholder engagement, digital learning solutions and participant recruitment

The Opportunity
The Department for Education (DfE) is establishing a major £781 Million (£781,000,000 exc. VAT) Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Inclusion CPD Framework (ITT_4068). It supports the Government’s investment in workforce development and wider SEND reform across schools and further education.

The framework will run for 4 years, from 1 April 2027 to 31 March 2031. It provides a route to market for high-quality SEND and inclusion CPD, with future requirements commissioned through competitions under the Framework Agreement.

Suppliers appointed at Stage 1 will go straight into Stage 2 competitions for the Department’s initial SEND CPD contracts, giving successful bidders an early chance at live work.

Why Act Now?
The tender submission deadline is 29 October 2026 at 12:00pm, leaving just over two weeks to prepare a compliant, competitive response. A Stage 1 award is the only way to access the Stage 2 contracts, so missing this window means missing both.

Our team can step in immediately to review the requirements, build your response and manage the submission to deadline. Spaces for support at this stage are strictly limited.
