The upcoming Digital and IT Professional Services 2 (DIPS 2) – RM6413 framework represents a significant new opportunity for digital, technology and professional services suppliers.
DIPS 2 is expected to build substantially on the existing framework, with several important developments creating a potentially much larger opportunity for suppliers:
- Increased 8-year framework term providing successful suppliers with a longer-term route to public sector opportunities and greater potential return on the investment required to secure a place.
- A wider customer focus expanding the opportunity beyond its traditional MoD base and creating greater potential to deliver digital and IT professional services across the wider UK public sector.
- Greater emphasis on SME participation with increased focus on creating opportunities for SMEs and specialist providers to participate and compete, making DIPS 2 particularly relevant to growing digital and technology businesses.
- Increased £2.8 billion framework value, reflecting the broader scope, longer term and increased ambition of the new agreement and creating a potentially significant pipeline for successful suppliers.
The Opportunity
DIPS 2 is designed to provide public sector organisations with access to the specialist capabilities needed to deliver increasingly complex digital and technology programmes.
